Tuesday, November 23, 2004 - at last...

Finally, after so many days...I got to post a new entry in my blog. Yey!!!

It's been 2 weeks already since my classes started. Although, most of the my teachers gaves us their course outline and explain some policies during the first week, I really feel that I'm busy.
I don't know. I just feel that I have many things to do. And for that reason, I wasn't able to update my blog...

I got 21 units this semester. Four of my subjects ( Crpt2, Bio30, Stat1, Bot20) have a 3 hour laboratory class each.
I am also taking eco11 which has a separate recitation class. Phlo1 is my Ge subject for this sem. Unfortunately, I didn't get any PE2 subject. I was supposed to have a pe subject enlisted but I chose not to. May be I wasn't on the mood that time. All I want to do is to be registered immediately.

My schedule is fine but I would appreciate it more if I got a day without any classes. One of my friends have no class during Fridays. Going back to my schedule, I have some fine vacant hours. Every monday, I have 3 straight hours during which, I can do anything I want. And that's what I'm doing now. Every tuesday, I have free 2.5 hours + 1 hr. Every Wednesday, I got 1 + 1 hr vacant. Every Thursday and Fridays, I have no classes starting at 1 in the afternoon. May be, anybody will find my schedule alright. Yah... But, I forgot to mention earlier what makes me hate this schedule... And that is.....four times a week, I have to wake up early to attend my 7 am class. Every friday, my class starts 8 in the morning. I really don't like going to school early. I have the bad habit of arriving late at my classes. And unfortunately, the professors of my 7 am classes gives quizzes during the first few minutes.
A while ago...I wasn't able to take a 10pt quiz in Bio30 because I was late. Anyway, I can't change that anymore...The best I can do is to try leaving home earlier than usual so that I will not encounter any traffic.

Another thing I remebered...My bot20 class schedule is fine...but it took my 3 vacant hours last thursday. I was supposed to go home at 1pm after my Nasc8 class. Unfortunately, most of my groupmates are busy. So I was assigned to continue the experiment. Fortunately, one og my group mate and one of my friend is vacant so we did the experiment together. I do not hate bot20, my teacher or my group...my teacher is very kind to us and i like my groupmates...Hmm.... I just don't like burning chopped plants until it becomes ash. My prof calls the process ashing. For 2 hours, we stirred the materials once in a while while it is burning..until the the materials' color become grayish white...After ashing, we have to get the mass of the ash....wahhaha do I still remember it???.. (leaves.4g,stems.2g,roots:.1g)

About my bio30 class....
Because for two mondays, there were no classes...we have to do 2 experiments this afternoon. I scanned the pages of the tha lab manual..the two exercises coverd up almost 30 pages. It seems that we will be drawing the phases of mitosis and meiosis.No!!! I don't like drawing chromosomes and cells dividing...

Oh no!!! My class bio30 lab class is at 1pm. I have to go now...
